Pinella

Pinella is a lamp made by laser cutting. Its shape is easy to assemble because it only contains 2 plastic pieces and one light bulb.

The objective of Pinella is to prompt interaction between the kid and his personal environment, in this case, his room. It’s a product which makes the child feel independent because he is able to build his own furniture and observe the result.

He can also feel the materials and understand how Pinella works, but especially this design helps him feel in his own environment and secure during the night.

I made this project in my study abroad scholarship in Milan Italy.
