Tosca Project

I was selected to participate in an international workshop sponsored by the government of the city of Luca, Italy. The best projects were exhibited at the «World Fair of Italy» in Milan, Italy, Tosca Project was one of the 3 selected.

The aim of the international workshop was to remark and remember the qualities that have distinguished the brand Sigaro Toscano through it’s history, making it one of the oldest and most important brand in Italy.

«Proggetto Tosca» is a system which mix two important concepts: the beautiful nature of the Toscana region in Italy and technology, using an innovative tool: augmented reality. Thereby, we decided to make a collection of cup holders made with the waste generated in the daily production of tabaco and we put signs in top of each one to use it on the augmented reality app. Each cup holder when is being scanned with a cell phone, shows a representative image or video of the culture of this region.
